Boo eyeing a piece of jewelry in the museum store, a beautiful sterling silver spider brooch. The clerk asks her if she wishes to see it, then offers for her to touch and hold it.
Boo turns it over in her hands & says, "I make things like this. Well, not quite this nice because I don't know how to weld [sic] yet, but I am going to learn."
I love hearing people, especially kids, say "I can make that!"

DeleteI know what you mean about being a bit lonely. I LOVE comments, which is why I comment on other peoples blogs as often as I can.
DeleteDespite the fact that I actually e-mail each post to family (I managed to escape from the evil clutches of Facebook so my family is a bit Emma deprived), I still get almost no comments. That is one of the reasons I love Saturday's artist. I can count usually on at least one comment- usually from Stephanie if no on else :)
