Me: Why is your stuffed dog on the kitchen island?
Boo: He is a native species.
Me: A native species of an island? Explain.
Boo: It was once part of the mainland of Dogland but melting of the polar ice caps caused mass flooding in low lying regions cutting off this section of ground and created this island.
Me: That's your story? Dog got stranded on kitchen island due to global warming?
Boo: Well, it is unlikely he crawled out of a volcano!
Me: Then please dispatch the red cross to pick him up and relocate him to an area with others of his kind.
Boo: They've been trying to but the cats won't let them. It's a huge political mess.
